I was born in Liberia, Africa, a skinny kid in the poorest area of Monrovia. From an early age, I knew I had to defend myself, so I began with bodyweight exercises. When I was in a refugee camp in Ghana, my uncle introduced me to boxing by using bags of sand and bricks hung from a tree.
When I arrived in America (with access to nicely equipped gyms), I moved on to weight training. I became entranced with the idea of body symmetry and the ability to fine-tune one's physical shape. My passion only grew from there.
In the midst of this, I was fortunate enough to meet the woman of my dreams and start a beautiful family.
It wasn't until my 30s that I ventured into bodybuilding competitions with Muscle Mania. My hard work paid off, and I won several awards. However, I became increasingly aware of competitors secretly using steroids. The realization slowly turned me off to that world. I have always prided myself on pushing my body the natural way.
Now, my focus is on sharing the unique fitness knowledge I have acquired through this remarkable journey, taking on clients who are eager to learn from my experience and commit to their own journey. The natural way, grounded in authenticity and health.
